I did stay 6 month in Egypt, linked to the Luxor Art School, during a university exchange we created with my artmade Élisa Martin, helped by Roger Dale and Ammar Abu Bakr (artists).
We arrived in Luxor on the January 20th 2011. 5 day later, revolution burst out everywhere in Egypt. We did have the choice : leave or stay. The 6 months staying, radically was engaged in complex processus, events, electrifying atmosphere, this country in a state of turmoil with a strong identity, fed and influenced my work you'll see right after.

Je suis partie durant 6 mois en Égypte, attachée à l'école des Beaux Arts de Louxor, dans le cadre d’un échange universitaire que nous avons inventé avec ma comparse Élisa Martin, avec l'aide de Roger Dale et Ammar Abu Bakr (artistes).
Nous sommes arrivée à Louxor le 20 janvier 2011. 5 jours plus tard, la révolution éclatait partout en Égypte. Nous avons eu le choix immédiatement de partir ou de rester. Les 6 mois suivant, radicalement immergée dans cette ambiance instable et survoltée, ce pays en ébullition à l'identité forte, ont nourri et influencé les pièces présentées ci-après.
